Panel Discussion: is Healthy Ageing, Ageing in Place?
As a side event to the Healthcare of the Future Symposium on March 2nd, we would like to invite you for a Panel Discussion on Healthy Ageing and Ageing in Place: A topic of critical importance in the unquestionable intersect between public health and urban development.
The panel will open by reviewing the effectiveness of today’s policy towards ageing societies, mainly in Europe. Following, a fact check of the impacts multigenerational structures have on societies, intends to revamp this ever-present concept. The discussion will surely peak controversy after Mike Richardson explains how DNA repair processes can realistically lead to reversing ageing. Visions of an un-ageing society and its consequences await… HEI founder Alvaro Valera Sosa will introduce the panel and offer a brief overview of the key concepts to be tackled such as, Ambient Assisted Living, Healthy Ageing, and Ageing in Place.
