International Biotechnology Innovation Days (IBID)
Past events focused on Portables Dokumentenformat bioanalytical plattforms (2013), autoimmune diagnostics Portables Dokumentenformat autoimmune diagnostics (2014) and Link zu einer externen Seite enabeling technolgies such as surfcae technologies and bioinformatics (2016). The scope of the conference is to bring together specialists and experts in the fields of bioanalytics, biomedical and translational research, autoimmune diagnostics, digitalization, and engineering.
The bioanalytical strand will highlight technologies like micro fluidics, array technologies, Point-of-Care Testing and super-resolution imaging.
The digitalization strand covers topics like applied statistical bioinformatics, integration of biomolecular and clinical data for cancer research and personalized medizine.
The IBID is an open access conference, which means that the participation is free of charge. In particular, we would like to encourage students and early career scientists to submit proposals for presentations.
We are looking back at nine successful conferences with inspiring talks, stimulating poster sessions and lively discussions that led to new concepts and ideas, developments, co-operations and projects. Now we are looking forward to an anniversary meeting full of research highlights, innovations and chances. The special anniversary program of the IBID 2018 includes:
Four scientific sessions
Four poster sessions and poster prizes
Special conference issue in the Journal of Cellular Biotechnology
Exhibition rally
Social evening with visit of the Senftenberg Castle and dinner
Further we offer a certified pre-conference workshop on data science and the statistical computing language Link zu einer externen Seite R that might be applied to many fields of research. Topics also include digital image analysis and applied statistical bioinformatics.
The main conference takes place between the 24.-25.5.2018 and the Data Science-Workshop on 23.5.2018.
The IBID is organized by the Institute of Biotechnology of the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg, the BioResponse e. V. together with the Link zu einer externen Seite Cluster HealthCapital Berlin-Brandenburg. The format of the IBID encourages active participation, interaction and discussion of researchers, clinicians, healthcare providers, industry experts, innovators and students.
