What is the Speed Lecture Award?
Six young scientists present in three minutes their new projects and ideas in life sciences and healthcare industries in front of the BIONNALE audience of around 800 experts from academia, science and business. The winner will be selected by audience voting.

Our expert public of around 800 scientists and entrepreneurs would like to hear from you! For the 11th year in a row, the HealthCapital – healthcare industries cluster Berlin-Brandenburg – and the Interest Group Biotechnology of the German Association of Research Based Pharmaceutical Companies (vfa bio) are awarding the BIONNALE Speed Lecture Award!
The Task
Present your idea in 3 minutes in a layman´s language!
The Reward
Coaching
Get a coaching from Dr. André Lampe, an experienced and professional coach, on how to do a brilliant pitch as a finalist on April 17 (10 a.m. - 2 p.m.) at Ludwig Erhard Haus, Fasanenstraße 85, 10623 Berlin.
Prize Money
As the winner of our Speed Lecture Award on May 7 save your prize of
1,000€ for first place,
500€ for second place,
300€ for third place

The Finalists
A jury consisting of carefully selected regional experts and decision makers in life sciences will select the finalists. The evaluation criteria are originality, relevanceand the presentation of the idea.

The Speed Lecture Award was initiated by the healthcare industries cluster Berlin-Brandenburg – HealthCapital and the interest group biotechnology within the German Association of Research-based Pharmaceuticals, vfa bio and is supported by both partners.
BIONNALE is the largest networking event for life sciences and healthcare industries in the German capital region.
