InnoHealth China | Call for Ideas & Innovation

The call addresses representatives from research organizations and those from SMEs and start-ups who develop application-oriented technologies and/or processes. 10 tandems - consisting of one representative from the research sector and one from a SME or start-up - will be selected to join the campaign and present their idea in China.

InnoHealth China (2019 - 2020)

InnoHealth China is the current campaign led by the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft and constituent part of the initiative Research in Germany which is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). The campaign aims to connect the Chinese and the German healthcare research sectors, also involving small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) and start-ups. The major goals of the InnoHealth China campaign are to strengthen innovative healthcare research projects in eHealth and Bioeconomy by linking stakeholders in Germany and China and identifying cooperation opportunities.

The Call for Ideas & Innovation

The campaign starts with a Call for Ideas & Innovation which addresses the German healthcare community. In particular, we are looking for representatives from German research institutions or universities as well as representatives from the German Mittelstand (SME) and start-ups who develop application-oriented technologies and/or processes and intend to convince experts of advantages of their invention and/or innovation.

10 Tandems

A total of 10 tandems - consisting of one representative of the German research sector and one SME or start-up representative - will be selected from all applicants for the campaign and have the chance to present their idea or innovation in China.
