The SBHD conference series is a binational annual event initially launched by Peter Sorger and colleagues at Harvard Medical School in 2008 with its location alternating between the USA and Germany. SBHD 2025 will take place in Berlin, Germany, hosted by BIH at Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin.

The Systems Biology of Human Disease (SBHD) conference focuses on systems biology approaches for the understanding, diagnosis, and therapy of human diseases.

This year’s conference will have a particular focus on:

  • Artificial Intelligence
  • Infectious diseases
  • Lung diseases
  • Aging
  • Cancer
  • Metabolic diseases
  • Mental Health

In addition to talks given by invited speakers, the SBHD program includes short talks from submitted poster abstracts and a poster session.
